We woke up to threatening rain and storms, but by 9:30 the skies were clearing up and we had a nice gentle breeze. So we are up and running. Our ribs are selling like hotcakes. Joe and Troy smoked up several racks this morning and we were packaging them when I left the trailer to come to the rv for a rest.
We're still meeting a lot of very nice people. We're getting more bikers visiting along with the many locals. They wander through on their way to see the Boss Hoss bikes next to us. Katheryn and I strolled around chewing on ribs earlier to entice people, and I think it worked. Joe tried to get us to wear some pig snout pasties but union rules came into play.
Troy asked Joe to front his some money for a bike, and then his mom will repay Joe. (Is that okay with you, Anita???) :) Katheryn's tossing around the same idea, but her bike runs around $40,000. Shouldn't be a problem. Joe's wondering how much it costs to get a Boss Hoss franchise. I'm just wanting to borrow one of the trikes and go for a ride with Joe down Spearfish Canyon.
Meanwhile, we work, then tear down each night, go back to the rv, shower, and relax for a few minutes before hitting the hay. Each day is interesting and a new adventure.
