Weeeeee'rrrrrrre back!!! The season is opening and the Spuds BBQ Co. World Headquarters trailer is almost done. The plumbing is in, the water heater is in, the gas lines are run, we have running water. What we don't have is the water heater working, the fresh water tank installed, or Joe throwing a Yosemite Sam fit.....I don't know why, best not to poke the badger, er, Yosemite. His patience is typically shorter than a snakes inseam but he's holding steady mainly because Mom Thaete is in town and she is like Kryptonite to Joe's salty demeanor. We are really looking forward to having this done and the health inspector signing off. We have the Big Chill BBQ Competition in Kuna, Idaho where we plan to vend and compete and this rig needs to be ready to rock and roll. Gotta pay this trailer off, build a shop (big enough to get park the trailer and get the Code enforcement Nazi off our rear end where she seems to be firmly attached), and get our '57 Chevy Boss Hoss Trike with a smoker trailer somehow.
Well, tommorow, Joe will get the gas lines pressure tested, the H2O heater going (hopefully) and the fresh water tank installed. Me, I'll have the easy chore of teaching a class full of 3rd graders the 3 R's. I may have it easy.
